Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. PDF Harbor runs entirely in your browser. Your files are read and processed on your device and are never sent to a server — you can check it in the counter on the home page or with your browser’s network tools.
Does it keep the layout?
It keeps the text, paragraphs, headings and page breaks. Columns, tables and images are not rebuilt.
Does it work with scanned PDFs?
Yes. Pages without a text layer are read with OCR in English or Spanish.
